Job summary

Great Place Construction in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Estimator to join the pre-construction team. Responsibilities include generating project estimates, completing quantity takeoffs, and coordinating with subcontractors to prepare bids.

The role requires strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction or engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in the field. Hybrid work environment offered.

• Bachelor’s degree or working toward a bachelor’s in construction or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with commercial estimating techniques and software: On-Screen Take Off, Bluebeam, ISqFT, etc.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Generate project estimates.
• Complete quantity takeoffs.
• Solicit specialty contractors to obtain estimates.
• Maintain specialty contractor database to ensure current information and include new bidders.
• Assist in preparation of RFP documents.
• Support management in maintaining estimating software/database.
• Coordinate bid document sharing with stakeholders.
• Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team.

REQUIREMENTS:
