Job summary

Drywall Interiors, LP is seeking an estimator to review design and bidding documents to create estimates for commercial drywall projects. The role focuses on takeoffs, pricing, and coordinating with general contractors to support bidding efforts and project timelines.

The candidate will leverage software tools to produce accurate labor, material, and equipment costs, maintaining bid calendars and ensuring precise takeoffs for competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Drafting and computer skills are required.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Familiarity with takeoff software and pricing processes.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, requirements and specifications.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review project plans, requirements and specifications
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
• Determine labor and construction equipment costs
• Prepare timely estimates of the drywall scopes of work for bidding projects
• Effectively communicate with general contractors on construction details, engineering modifications, RFI’s etc.

Minimum Skills Or Experience Requirements:

• Experience in estimating or project management in the drywall scopes of work (Metal Framing, Drywall, ACT, Specialty ceilings, etc.)
