Job summary

Unistress Corp. in Pittsfield, MA is seeking an estimator who can quickly digest construction documents, perform accurate take-offs and prepare cost estimates for manufacturing and erection/field work.

The goal is to present precise proposals and maintain profitability for the business while supporting the company’s revenue generation plan. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will collaborate with Sales, Project Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and Project Management to ensure that

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in estimating, 3D drawing or construction design.
• Ability to read and create drawings in AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project) and basic project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates.
• Determine set-up costs and costs for non-standard specifications.
• Maintain and update project documentation in the estimating system.
• Coordinate with Sales, Project Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and PM to ensure accurate pricing.
• Review subcontractor quotations and prepare scope summaries and budgets.
• Produce sales drawings and conceptual/VE budgets using CAD/REVIT.
