Estimator – Lighting Projects

Location: On-Site | Tampa, FL

As an Estimator, you will turn plans and specifications into accurate, competitive bids that win work and fuel the company’s expansion across the Southeast.

What You’ll Do

• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and fixture schedules to create precise bills of material for commercial and industrial lighting projects.
• Produce itemized quote packages and deliver them at least 24 hours before bid deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, manufacturers, and the outside sales team to ensure pricing aligns with market conditions and project goals.
• Track addenda and design changes, updating estimates quickly to keep bids accurate and timely.
• Stay current on emerging lighting controls, energy‑efficient technologies, and IoT devices to recommend value‑engineered alternatives.
• Participate in product trainings, share new ideas, and champion continuous process improvements that strengthen the estimating department.
• Assist with submittal package review and other project‑support tasks as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–4 years of experience preparing lighting or electrical estimates/quotations for commercial projects.
