Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Orlando, Florida is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead medium-to-large estimates and support the pursuit of major projects. The role involves detailed analysis of contract documents, development of conceptual estimates, and coordination with stakeholders to finalize budgets.

The position emphasizes leadership of a team, strong knowledge of bid processes, and collaboration across departments for successful client submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience.
• 8 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating; 6-12 months on-site preferred.
• Led pursuits valued up to $150 million in various delivery methods.
• Knowledge of bid preparation, quantity takeoff, subtrade procurement and bid-closing procedures.
• Experience estimating multiple scopes and building conceptual estimates.

Responsibilities

• Leads medium-to-large estimates or components of large estimates and leads win strategy development.
• Performs detailed analysis of documents to determine project requirements.
• Completes quantity take-offs for labor, equipment and materials.
• Develops conceptual estimate submissions and presentations for pursuits.
• Coordinates with internal/external stakeholders to create site logistics, schedule and budget.
• Presents final cost estimate to chief estimator and district management.
