Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Inverness, Scotland, seeks an experienced Estimator to join a respected construction and property development business with a flexible hybrid working arrangement. You will support pre-construction and commercial processes by preparing accurate estimates and ensuring projects stay within budget.

The role includes reviewing drawings, obtaining quotes and delivering competitive tender submissions, reporting insights, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator within construction, housebuilding or property development.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Confident communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and tender deadlines.

Responsibilities

Estimator
Location: Inverness, Highlands

We are working with a respected business within the Highland construction sector that is looking to appoint an Estimator to support its continued growth.

Importantly, the business is open to hybrid working and welcomes applications from candidates based in different parts of Scotland. This creates an excellent opportunity for Estimators who have the right experience but may not be based in Inverness or the surrounding area.

The Role

You will play an important part in the pre-construction and commercial process, preparing accurate, competitive estimates and helping ensure projects are delivered within budget.
