  • Prepare proposal pricing, assumptions, exclusions, alternates, and required estimate deliverables.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Business Development, vendors, subcontractors, and design participants.
  • Support and coach less-experienced estimators on assigned work.
  • Contribute reliable cost, productivity, quotation, and market data to estimating records and tools.

  • · Experience estimating self-perform scopes including light civil, concrete/structural, steel installation, process engineering, and process piping.
  • · Working knowledge of labor productivity, material and equipment pricing, crew composition, production rates, subcontractor analysis, indirect costs, and proposal development.
  • · Ability to interpret and quantify from mechanical, structural, process, piping, civil, and architectural drawings and specifications.
  • · Experience developing detailed takeoffs and estimates for process piping, structural steel, concrete, equipment installation, and related mechanical/industrial construction scopes.
  • · Proficiency with applicable estimating and takeoff software, Microsoft Office, CRM, and document-management systems.
  • · Strong organization, attention to detail, written communication, and ability to manage multiple estimates and competing deadlines.
  • · Ability to travel periodically to offices, client locations, and project sites.
  • · Valid driver’s license and insurability when driving is required.
  • · Working proficiency in mechanical, structural, and industrial construction, including the ability to understand scope, quantities, labor requirements, productivity, and pricing.
