Job summary

CSW Industrials Inc. is seeking an Estimator based in Wichita, KS to review project scope, prepare detailed estimates, and price each phase from inception to final budget approval. You will collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and AHJs through bid stages while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.

The role requires knowledge of construction practices, reading plans, and proficiency with estimation tools. On-site work in Wichita, KS is required.

Qualifications

• Able to work collaboratively with direct team members, or across departments, and work independently as needed.

• Create project specific notes to identify the needs of a project.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) during the bidding stages of the project.
• Foster and grow relationships with internal and external customers.
• Attend meetings with customers, reps, peers, and management as required.
• Regular and routine attendance is required.
• This role may require other job duties to be performed.

Position Summary

The Estimator serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding bid activity in our direct markets. The role is
responsible for evaluating project scope and preparing detailed estimates and pricing for each phase, from inception to
final working budget approval.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration or similar field preferred.

Experience

• 1+ year experience in construction required.
• Experience in an Estimating role preferred.
• Experience in a role where creation of bids and proposals were a main job responsibility preferred.l
• Familiarity with contractual requirements and best practices in the construction industry preferred.
• Experience using E-Takeoff, Bluebeam, Salesforce, Procore, Planswift or similar systems preferred.

Work Environment

• Physical Conditions: This position works in a professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment, and is

seated for long periods of time.

• Location: This position is based in our Wichita, KS office. Employees in the Wichita area are required to work on-site.
