Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive estimates and proposals for low-voltage, ICT, and ISP construction projects. You will review bid documents, perform quantity takeoffs, calculate labor and material costs, and identify project risks to craft compelling proposals.

Hybrid work environment with occasional site visits. Bachelor's degree preferred and knowledge of fiber/copper cabling and ISP infrastructure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in ICT, low-voltage, or ISP construction.
• Knowledge of fiber, copper cabling, ISP infrastructure.
• Experience with estimating and digital takeoff software.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Develop proposals with pricing, scope, exclusions, and assumptions.
• Maintain cost databases, vendor pricing, and labor rates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of estimating experience in ICT, low-voltage, structured cabling, or ISP construction.
• Knowledge of fiber, copper cabling, ISP infrastructure, and access control.
• Experience with estimating and digital takeoff software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• RCDD, DCDC, or BICSI credentials are advantageous.

Work Environment

Hybrid work arrangement. Occasional job site visits. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
