Job summary

EGR Casework | Millwork in Oklahoma City is seeking an Estimator to blend precise estimating with business development. You will help determine which opportunities to pursue and build client relationships that support growth, with hands-on training in reading architectural drawings and using our estimating software.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly, and values accuracy. Millwork experience is helpful but not required; we emphasize drive, ownership, and a growth

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs using Estimating software.
• Review bid documents for scope, inclusions, exclusions, and constructability.
• Meet bid deadlines with complete, documented submittals.
• Support bid calendar and revenue goals with team.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, and Production for hand-offs on awarded projects.

THE ROLE

EGR is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team. This role blends precise technical estimating with relationship-driven business development. You will do more than prepare numbers—you will help determine which opportunities EGR pursues and build the client relationships that support our continued growth.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly, and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through. Millwork experience is helpful but not required. EGR provides hands-on training in reading architectural drawings and using our estimating software. What we cannot train is drive, attention to detail, ownership, and a genuine desire to grow. We are looking for people who want to build a meaningful career and help build something lasting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents to develop accurate cost estimates
• Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs using EGR's estimating software and established procedures
• Review bid documents for scope, inclusions, exclusions, and constructability before submitting estimates
• Meet all bid deadlines with complete, accurate, well-documented submittals

Bid Development & Business Development

• Work with the Lead Estimator and Business Development team to maintain a full bid calendar and support revenue goals
• Identify projects that fit EGR's capabilities, capacity, and strategic priorities
• Track bid results, win/loss trends, and market opportunities to inform future strategy

Client Relationships & Communication

• Build strong relationships with general contractors, architects, and owners through consistent, professional communication
• Serve as a responsive, knowledgeable point of contact during the bid and pre-award process
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, and Production to ensure accurate scope hand-offs on awarded projects
• Document all bids, communications, and project details in EGR's systems

• Background in millwork, casework, or a related commercial construction trade
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Bluebeam Revu, INNERGY, or Project PAK
