Job summary

Applied Image, located in New Jersey, seeks an Estimator to provide pricing support to the Sales Team. Key responsibilities include estimating material and labor costs, managing vendor bids, and ensuring quality pricing through collaboration with Sales and Project Management.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational and communication skills, precise math abilities, and proficiency in MS Office. A minimum of a 2-year Associates Degree is required, and experience with Epicor ERP or in the Architectural printing market is a plus.

Applied Image is a nationwide leader in site branding, environmental graphic production and large format imaging. We manufacture and install large format graphics for the country’s most demanding corporate, exhibit and retail designers and architects. Our office/manufacturing facility is located in central NJ.

Job Description

The Estimator’s primary role is to provide pricing to the Applied Image Sales Team. The Estimator’s responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

• Estimating material and labor costs for projects, including interpreting the salesperson’s “request for quote” forms to establish a base pricing for the customer.
• Analyzing and interpreting plans, design books, and project documents.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Managing bids from vendors and contractors.
• Working with Project Management to secure supply of inventory and special order material.
• Working with Sales to constantly achieve highest quality and value through competitive pricing.

Qualifications

Excellent organizational skills required as well as excellent communications skills, written and verbal. Precise math skills are required. Competence with MS Office in a Windows environment is required. Minimum 2 year Associates Degree required. Experience with Epicor ERP a plus. Experience with the Architectural or Large Format Printing market a big plus.
