An established commercial interiors contractor with 20+ years of industry experience is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in New Hampshire. The company is a major commercial drywall contractor in the Northeast, specializing in drywall and interior construction across commercial projects.

This is an office-based estimating position offering the opportunity to play a key role in preconstruction, project pricing, bid preparation, and securing new commercial work while working closely with project management and company leadership.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and commercially minded, with strong experience estimating commercial drywall and interior construction projects.

About The Role

• Prepare estimates for commercial drywall and interior construction projects.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and project requirements.
• Complete quantity takeoffs and develop project pricing.
• Prepare competitive bids and proposals.
• Solicit, review, and compare pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyze project scope, labor requirements, materials, and associated costs.
• Work closely with project management and company leadership throughout the estimating process.
• Support preconstruction activities and project planning.
• Assist with business development and identifying new project opportunities.
• Monitor project costs, gross margins, and overall profitability.
• Manage multiple estimates, bids, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate estimating documentation and project records.

About the Candidate

• Strong understanding of commercial drywall and interior construction systems.
• Previous experience with commercial project pricing and quantity takeoffs.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and competing deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with construction estimating software preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project management, leadership, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Performance-based bonus tied to GP, billable sales and gross margins
