Kaizen Collision Center – La Mesa, California is seeking an experienced collision repair estimator to turn opportunities into repair orders. You will write accurate, profitable repair plans, sell the customer on repairs, manage files, and work with insurance carriers to keep production moving.

This role rewards performers with up to 6% commission and potential total earnings well above $200,000. The La Mesa location serves a broad East County market; you’ll leverage DRP relationships, optimize

Someone who can sell the job, build the repair plan, manage the file, communicate with the customer, work with the carrier, and keep production moving.

We need someone who knows how tocapture business.

You should be comfortable:

• Turning estimates into scheduled repairs
• Selling the customer on why they should repair with your shop
• Building trust quickly
• Writing accurate, profitable repair plans
• Managing supplements aggressively and accurately
• Working directly with insurance companies and adjusters
• Understanding DRP expectations and requirements
• Communicating with technicians, parts, paint, and production
• Managing multiple active repairs without losing control of your files
• Identifying bottlenecks before they affect delivery
• Keeping customers informed throughout the repair
• Driving cycle time
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We're looking for candidates with professional collision repair estimating experience and a strong understanding of:

• Complete repair planning
• Customer sales and closing
• Insurance negotiations
• Supplements
• DRP procedures
• Gross profit and repair economics
• Production and cycle-time management

Progressive claims experience is a plus.

I-CAR, ASE, and OEM certifications are preferred.

A valid driver's license is preferred.
