Job summary

Mark One Electric Co is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to drive precise, competitive bids for Kansas City projects. You will analyze drawings, evaluate subcontractor pricing, and price equipment to support successful handoffs from bid to build.

The role requires 2+ years in electrical estimating, a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong proficiency in electrical systems and MS Office. Trimble Accubid is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience (commercial construction preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (experience considered in lieu of degree).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, comprehensive labor and material estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, scope, and schedules to ensure complete and competitive bids.
• Solicit, evaluate, and condition subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Price specialty and standard equipment and maintain cost databases.
• Identify risks, assumptions, and clarifications—and communicate them clearly to leadership.
• Support value engineering and preconstruction pricing efforts.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure smooth handoff from bid to build.

What You’ll Own
