Collaboration with Estimating, PM, and Operations is essential to determine means and methods, value a project, and manage day-to-day site issues with integrity and diplomacy.

Estimating/Project Management

T&C has a small, very dedicated Estimating & Project Management team that enables us to do much larger and more complicated projects than you might think for our size. Estimators are the very first people at T&C to see a job on paper and begin the process of winning and completing a successful project. An Estimator must be able to read blueprints, have an eye for detail, and the ability to focus on the “fine print” in order to really understand a project. Our estimator collaborate with the Project Management & Operations teams in order to determine means and methods and other cost effective ideas to properly place a value on a given project. Our Project Management team works hand in hand with the Estimators to translate their knowledge of a project to the Operations team and then effectively manage the progress of construction. Project Managers also need a keen eye for detail and the ability to focus on the day to day issues of a project. The ability to represent our firm to our clients with integrity and diplomacy is also critical. We are a small firm and because of that we have very limited opportunities in this field but we are always on the lookout for that one individual that just “fits” with our team.
