Job summary

RedGuard invites a motivated Estimator Intern for a summer internship from May 17th, 2027 to August 6th, 2027. You will assist with material takeoffs, cost development, and quotation support, learning from experienced teammates across sales, engineering, and project management.

The role develops practical skills in estimating modular structures, with exposure to ProEst, PlanSwift and related tools, while contributing to project efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in a relevant field such as construction management or engineering.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications and learn new tools quickly.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft 365 apps; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material takeoffs and input estimate inputs in ProEst under guidance.
• Support cost development, quote coordination and documentation for estimates.
• Maintain orderly estimate files and takeoff records for review and reuse.
• Contribute to capstone projects on takeoff software standardization.
