Job summary

Keeley Companies in Fargo, North Dakota, is seeking Estimating Interns to join our Operations Groups for Summer 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience in construction cost estimation, collaboration with senior staff, and exposure to bid preparation and project scheduling.

You will assist VPs, PMs, and engineers, gather bids from subcontractors, review timelines, and learn Keeley’s safety standards and values.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
Strong ability to work independently and in a team.
Excellent listening, learning, and communication skills.
Results oriented with strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated problem solving and initiative.

Responsibilities

Assist VPs, PMs, and engineers in developing cost estimates for multiple projects.
Gather and analyze bids from subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
Review project timelines and integrate estimates with schedules.
Attend meetings and provide cost/budget insights.
Complete estimating tasks accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to Keeley safety standards during estimating activities.
Support Keeley’s mission, vision and values.
