Qualifications

• Successful completion of the course(s) which are appropriate to the assignment as an assistant.
• Esthetician’s license
• Georgia Master Cosmetologist License
• Minimum of three (3) years of in-field work experience within the past seven (7) years

Responsibilities

• The Esthetics Lab Assistant will be responsible for fulfilling non-teaching activities necessary to support student success in an educational program that prepares students for careers in Esthetics.
• The Lab Assistant works under the direct supervision of faculty members.
• Perform routine standardized laboratory work requiring close attention to detailed procedures in the preparation and basic maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment, inventory and requisition of supplies
• Assisting faculty in supervision of students assigned to laboratories
• Administrative responsibilities and other duties as assigned
