Lisa Eddy Skincare is seeking a part-time esthetician to join our holistic skin and body boutique. Responsibilities include performing facials, body sculpting, detox sessions, spray tanning, and handling sales and client bookings.

Ideal candidates have a CA Esthetics license, retail sales experience, and a passion for skincare, nutrition, and customer service. Flexible hours include evenings, with Sundays required.

Job description

Lisa Eddy Skincare is looking for a bright, kind, mature, and responsible service oriented esthetician to join our team P/T. We are a holistic skin and body boutique, focused on helping people age beautifully and naturally through skin and body services along with customizing the correct home care products with instructions.

A valid CA Esthetics license is required. Retail sales experience required. Preferably 1 year of practical experience as an esthetician/spa technician. Nutritional Certification is beneficial but not required.

First and foremost, you must genuinely love sales and service and helping people look and feel their best. You must also have a passion for and a representative of being healthy, understanding some general nutrition, how to recommend and explain skincare regimens and generally embody a deep understanding of self-care and be able to teach others the same.

Overall responsibilities include taking the customer from start to finish including confidently performing the following services: facials, body/sculpt and detox sessions (2 different units) and natural spray tanning, along with ringing out sales transaction at the end of the service, booking clients, handling phone calls, emails, texts, handling drop in clients picking up products & shipping web and text orders, client retention, receiving product orders and merchandising, and phenomenal customer service.

For this, great communication and conversational skills are key. Additionally, you will need a genuinely positive personality, the ability to multitask and be a motivated team player. We take great pride in providing exceptional customer care and in being part of our community.

Knowledge of Mind Body Software and Accuity Booking is helpful, but experience in any retail point of sale software is fine. Mac use is essential. General knowledge of social media and being able to post /update is needed.

This part time position includes around 20-25 hours a week with potential for growth. Typical retail spa hours which include some evenings into 7 or 8 pm and some earlier opening shifts at 8:30. Sundays are mandatory and some Saturdays as well.
