Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Thousand Oaks is seeking experienced, licensed estheticians or cosmetologists who can deliver professional facials, peels, microdermabrasion, LED therapies and remediation. We offer flexible days and hours, including weekends, with ongoing Dermalogica and Image training, uniforms, linens, supplies, and a steady flow of clients.

This is a full-time role with a performance-based compensation plan that includes a percentage of services, hourly on-duty pay,

Qualifications

• Licensed estheticians must possess excellent technical skills, with dedication to service and professionalism.
• Proficiency in facial treatments including peels, microdermabrasion, LED therapies and remediation.
• Must currently hold California licensure and have spa experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of facial services (including peels, microdermabrasion, LED) and remediation.
• Match client needs and skin type with appropriate services for satisfaction and results.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain a clean, safe spa environment.
• Stand or sit during each 60‑minute service and assist with posture, lifts and movement as required.

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa provides affordably priced, top quality therapeutic massage, facial and hair removal services at convenient hours 7 days a week. Our spa in Thousand Oaks has 4 out of 11 treatment rooms designated for facials. We have become the go to spa for the widest array of facial services in theThousand Oaks area. We are very busy and you won't sit. Come join us!

We are currently seeking experienced, dependable, energetic, and friendly licensed Estheticians or Cosmetologists to support our constantly growing clientele. We offer flexible days and hours, including weekends to work around your schedule. We are a family owed business and value you as much as we do our clients.

Licensed Estheticians we hire must possess excellent technical skills, with a dedication to service and the highest professionalism. We provide an ongoing training program with Dermalogica and Image, uniforms, linen and supplies, fully articulating tables and a steady stream of clientele. At Hand & Stone, you do the work you love and we take care of the rest!

Successful applicants are a California licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist with AT LEAST THREE YEARS SPA EXPERIENCE and should currently have insurance. Proficiency in all types of facials including various types of peels, microdermabrasion, LED treatments and remediation are required. We have and we will train you on Diamond Glow that delivers immediate and noticeable results. Our clients love it! You will too! Understanding how to match the client's needs and skin type with services is required and the key to customer satisfaction and your success.

Please be aware that you will stand or sit during each 60 minute service, extend arms, use hands and perform neck massage, bending and reaching , lifting up to 30 pounds and full movement around the spa.

Compensation is:

• A percentage of each total service performed
• An hourly rate between appointments while on duty
• Special incentives, all gratuities plus commission on Dermalogica and Image product sales.
• Free massage or facial monthly for full time therapists
• 50% employer covered medical insurance with full-time (27 hours per week) employment.
• With our wide array of upgraded facial services, you should expect to earn up to $70 /hour per service performed inclusive of tips.
