Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Esthetician role based in Kensington, MD. The Esthetician will perform professional skincare services, including facials, peels, and advanced skin treatments, in alignment with clinic protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, evaluating skin concerns, recommending treatment plans, and educating clients on home-care routines and products. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment, complying with health and safety standards, and documenting services accurately. The Esthetician will also support product sales, build long-term client relationships, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a consistently high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Skin Care and Cosmetology, including facials, peels, and advanced aesthetic treatments.
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and deliver a positive, inclusive client experience.
• Sales abilities to recommend appropriate treatments and products, and to meet or exceed clinic sales and retention goals.
• Valid state Esthetician or Cosmetology license for Maryland, with adherence to all regulatory and sanitation requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and respectful approach toward all clients and team members.
• Comfort with working in a medical aesthetics setting and following clinical protocols; prior experience in a spa or med spa is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a steady client schedule, and work some evenings or weekends as needed.
