Job summary

Caring Transitions is hiring for part-time, hands-on roles in the Middletown area. You will help families during transitions by sorting, packing, and organizing belongings, then assisting clients in settling into new homes. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Starting pay is $19 per hour. The role offers a flexible daytime schedule with projects during the week, and you’ll be part of a supportive team that values compassion and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25–30 pounds.
• Flexible availability Tuesday–Saturday.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable working in varied home environments.
• Willing to learn and assist as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sort, organize, and handle belongings with care.
• Pack and unpack items thoughtfully.
• Assist with resettling clients into new homes.
• Prepare items for donation, sale, shipping, or disposal.
• Photograph and list items for online auctions using a smartphone.
• Stage homes for estate sales and move preparation.
• Support with estate sales and auction pickup days.
• Communicate positively with clients, families, and team members.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for client belongings.
