Job summary

Rutkowski Law Firm is seeking a Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our Estate Planning team, delivering a world-class client experience through drafting and preparing estate planning documents, including revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and deeds.

You will manage workflows, coordinate with attorneys, and communicate with clients to ensure plans are reviewed, executed, and funded, while staying organized and team-focused.

Qualifications

• Estate planning, elder law, probate experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication — clear, client-friendly.
• Proficient with legal document preparation and navigating technology.
• Organized and self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare estate planning documents (revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, deeds).
• Manage workflows through our systems and ensure plans are reviewed, executed, and funded.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate with clients to keep them informed and confident throughout the process.
• Track key milestones and prepare for client meetings and signings.
• Support clients from start to finish with empathy and responsiveness.
