Job summary

Stein Law LLC seeks an estate planning attorney with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in estate planning, including wills and trusts, to join our Sandy Springs, Georgia office. The ideal candidate will have exposure to taxable estates and an interest in learning about federal income tax and entity taxation within a collaborative, mature team environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in estate planning with taxable estates
• Excellent research, writing, and drafting skills
• Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and GST tax implications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external advisors

Responsibilities

• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts.
• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, tax implications, and asset protection.
• Conduct client meetings to understand goals and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Stay current with changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters as needed.
• Research issues including income, estate, Chapter 14, GSTT, and entity taxation.
