Job summary

Anderson Business Advisors is seeking an estate planning attorney to draft living trusts and wills, consult with clients nationwide by phone, and present seminars across the country. The role involves collaborating with tax and planning teams to ensure integrated client services and ongoing professional development.

You will stay current with estate planning laws, manage client relationships, and participate in special projects to expand the practice and provide exceptional service to clients.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in good standing in any state.
• 1–3 years of estate planning or probate experience.
• Strong public speaking skills for seminars and client sessions.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Draft and consult on living trusts and estate plans, mostly by phone with clients nationwide.
• Meet with prospective clients to design estate plans and offer services.
• Consult with existing clients to review and update plans.
• Speak at live seminars nationwide to educate attendees on estate planning and asset protection.
• Provide follow-up consultations to convert seminar leads into clients.
• Coordinate with tax and other planning departments to deliver integrated client services.
• Manage client relationships and address questions or concerns.
• Engage in special projects related to estate planning, consulting, and research.
• Stay current with changes in estate planning laws and best practices.

Job description

To provide expert legal advice and services related to estate planning, including drafting living trusts, wills, and other estate planning documents. This role involves working closely with clients nationwide, speaking at seminars, and collaborating with other departments to ensure comprehensive client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation:

• Draft and consult with clients on living trusts and estate plans, mostly by phone with clients nationwide.
• Meet with prospective clients to design estate plans and offer services.
• Consult with existing clients over the phone to review and update their estate plans.
• Speak at live seminars across the country, engaging and educating attendees on estate planning and asset protection.
• Provide follow-up consultations to seminar attendees to convert leads into clients.

Client Management:

• Serve as a liaison with Anderson's tax and other planning departments to ensure integrated client services.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns or questions.

Special Projects:

• Engage in special projects related to client matters involving estate planning, consulting, and research.
• Stay current with changes in estate planning laws and best practices to provide the highest quality service to clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in any state. Bar registration must be in good standing
• 1-3 years of experience in estate planning or probate.
• Strong public speaking skills and ability to engage audiences.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in estate planning, tax advisory, or related fields.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
