Job description

About the Role
An estate planning firm in the Los Angeles area is hiring an associate attorney with 1–5+ years of practice. The firm welcomes attorneys coming from family law, real estate, immigration, litigation, or another area who have held one or two prior legal roles and have supervised staff or carried real caseload responsibility.

The firm is dedicated to serving underserved communities and helping families who have historically been left out of the planning process protect their homes, assets and futures. It's a close-knit team of two attorneys, three paralegals, and an office manager. This is not a typical associate role. Within two years, the right attorney will share in firm profits and revenue, with a clear path toward running the practice if desired.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of three paralegals

  • Ability to work a demanding schedule, including 9–10 hour days and occasional weekends
