Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar in good standing.
• At least 4 years of estate planning and trusts experience.

Responsibilities:

Client Consultations: Meet with clients to assess their estate planning needs, discuss goals, and provide tailored legal advice on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.

Document Drafting: Prepare and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, and other legal instruments.

Tax Planning: Advise clients on federal and state tax implications of estate plans, including strategies to minimize estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.

Trust and Estate Administration: Assist with trust administration, including asset distribution, trust funding, and compliance with fiduciary duties.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in New York and in good standing.

4+ years of experience in estate planning, trusts, and estates law

Compensation:

$150-220k+ depending on experience
