Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC seeks a board-certified Urologist to join a well-established hospital-employed practice. You will provide comprehensive urological care, perform surgeries, and supervise APPs while benefiting from modern facilities and a supportive team.

The role offers flexible scheduling and access to the new daVinci Robot on site, with a dedicated cystoscopy suite and strong clinical collaboration within Lifepoint Health.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Urologist with valid medical license in North Carolina or eligibility.
• Experience in general urology including kidney stones, tumors, incontinence, infections.
• Ability to supervise APPs and participate in program management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat urological conditions in clinic and hospital settings.
• Perform urological procedures and surgeries with available on-site techs.
• Collaborate with surgical team and provide APP supervision and mentorship.

Position Details

• Join a well-established, hospital employed practice in North Carolina
• Significant growth potential joining a Urologist and two APPs
• Flexible schedules considered to fit your lifestyle, with option like:
  • 1 week on at Haywood Regional Medical Center (Clyde)
  • 1 week off
  • 1 week on at Harris Regional Hospital (Sylva)
  • 1 week off
• General Urology services: Kidney Stones, Tumors of the Kidney and Bladder, Incontinence, Urinary Infections
• APP Supervision is required and compensated
• Practice management support
• NEW daVinci Robot on site
• Dedicated Cystoscopy Suite in the OR
• Current Equipment: Olympus scopes with rigid and flexible options, Dornier disposable cystoscopes and ureteroscopes, MR Fusion prostate Biopsies with SpaceOAR procedure, Lumenis Holmium Laser,
