Site Responsibilities: Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics - Gaithersburg, MD

• Assist with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Management System EHS foundations with implementation of site and business Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives.
• Support compliance activities related to regulatory, corporate, and business EHS requirements.
• Participate in routine inspections, audits, risk assessments, and safety observations.
• Collect, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics learning Saint Gobain systems.
• Support capital projects, process changes, and Management of Change (MOC) activities from an EHS perspective.
• Support Health and Hygiene exposure and monitoring projects such as air monitoring, noise dosimetry, audiograms, and ergonomic assessments.

Program Summary:

Our 18-month development program provides participants a full-time operational role, designed to improve their manufacturing skills and exposure to Saint-Gobain North America. Participants will be located at one singular manufacturing plant for 18 months and will be involved with quarterly travel to other Saint-Gobain manufacturing sites in North America. The time split between local site projects and EOM program activities is 80:20 respectively. Classroom-based E-learnings, hands‑onaction-based learning in operational environments as well as a plethora of networking opportunities, are just some of the activities in place designed to accelerate your career development and future career growth. These trainings and quarterly travel opportunities are a requirement for program completion and full participation should be given, except for extenuating circumstances. While start dates for EOM program participants may vary, program activities kickoff each year in July and end 18 months later in December of the following year.

Upon successful completion of the program, EOM Engineers will be considered for a final placement role within their host business. Placement discussions begin approximately halfway through the program to provide ample time for the participant, host business, and Human Resources team to align on long‑term career goals and potential opportunities across Saint‑Gobain's network of nearly 160 sites throughout North America. Provided performance expectations are met, participants will receive a designated final placement offer from their host business; however, employees remain free to pursue other opportunities within Saint‑Gobain should they choose not to accept that offer.

Saint‑Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position, which is $72,500 to $111,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $79,025 to $121,535. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
