Job summary

Salem-Keizer Public Schools is seeking a Special Programs Instructional Assistant - Bilingual at Washington Elementary School to support licensed teachers by planning and implementing educational programs, including IEPs, in general and bilingual settings.

The position requires fluent reading, writing and speaking of both Spanish and English; a bilingual assessment will be administered to verify language proficiency during the hiring process.

Special Programs Instructional Assistant - Bilingual - ESSA

Purpose To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and bilingual education settings.
