Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. seeks an experienced ESS Production Print Specialist II to provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic assistance across Konica Minolta’s technical channels. This role leads regional product reworks and coordinates with KMI support to resolve issues efficiently.

You will mentor CSC teams, share technical knowledge, and maintain expert status on KM products, peripherals, and print controllers. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical school diploma; bachelor’s degree a plus
• 8+ years’ production print experience with Konica Minolta preferred
• G7 certification strongly desired
• N+ certification desired
• Ability to develop and deliver webinars/workshops
• Strong knowledge of production print hardware (Agfa, Plockmatic)
• Knowledge of Fiery/Creo controllers
• Adobe Suite and PitStop Pro proficiency
• Experience with variable data printing

Overview

The ESS Production Print Specialist II will utilize Konica Minolta systems knowledge to provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic assistance to all Konica Minolta technical channels. The Specialist will be a lead support entity for major accounts. The Specialist will also work directly with KMI support personnel to facilitate the timely resolution of issues. Additionally, the ESS Production Print Specialist II will broadcast pertinent technical information to the field using a variety of media. The ESS Production Print Specialist II will serve as a mentor to CSC team members. The Specialist will have and maintain a high aptitude of expertise on Konica Minolta products, peripherals and print controllers.

Responsibilities

• Be a lead for regional product reworks


• Provide Major Account support


• Creation of troubleshooting and best practices guides


• Conduct weekly/monthly conference calls with field/KMI


• Be a support lead including interfacing with respective support groups for Fiery and Creo controllers.


• Create troubleshooting videos for distribution to direct and dealer channels


• Create entries complete with technical and business justification for the Accompa system


• Provide system integration support and diagnostic assistance to all KMBS channels using network knowledge and Konica Minolta systems knowledge. This includes main body configuration support


• Handle Critical Accident Reports in a detailed and timely fashion

Qualifications

• Be familiar with and be able to demonstrate IQ-501 functionality


• Ability to technically support MFP peripheral products of appropriate KM partners’ products (i.e. Fiery, Creo)


• Able to develop and deliver quality, well organized and meaningful webinars and workshops to the internal, external customers, and field teams


• Ability to interpret and condense complex information into a concise summary for audience members with varied degrees of technical acumen


• Able to relate to both technical and sales audiences in a professional, personable and persuasive manner.


• Experience with Adobe Suite plus Pitstop Pro


• Strong knowledge of Production Print Hardware including Agfa and Plockmatic products


• Knowledge of variable data printing


• Strong organizational and follow-up skills


• Travel up to 50%


• Associates degree or Technical school diploma required. Bachelor Degree in related fields a plus. Equivalent work experience will be considered


• 8+ years’ experience of Production Print experience with Konica Minolta production print knowledge preferred.


• G7 certification strongly desired


• N+ certification desired


• Apple Certified support professional (ACSP) helpful
