Bringing Home the Dough

The Enterprise Shared Services Operations Specialist performs transactional activities that support the accurate and timely execution of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process and Order Management operations. Responsibilities include customer order entry and maintenance, customer inquiry resolution, order monitoring, MRP-related transaction support, master data maintenance, records management, process improvements, and compliance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls. The role focuses on executional excellence, customer service, accuracy, productivity, and service delivery within the Shared Services organization.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and established procedures.
  • Review customer orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, delivery requirements, and supporting documentation prior to processing.
  • Monitor order management workflows and resolve routine order, inventory, shipping, and customer service exceptions.
  • Support Order-to-Cash activities including order entry, order maintenance, customer account support, and transaction processing.
  • Perform MRP-related transactional activities, including material availability review, order confirmations, and coordination with Supply Chain and Operations functions.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Distribution teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries related to order status, product availability, delivery schedules, and transactional issues.
  • Maintain customer, product, and order master data in accordance with established controls and approval requirements.
  • Monitor open orders and proactively identify potential service, inventory, or fulfillment issues.
  • Maintain organized and audit-ready electronic and physical records.
  • Support month-end, reporting, audit, compliance, and customer service performance activities.
  • Adhere to internal controls, segregation-of-duty requirements, and company policies designed to safeguard company assets.
  • Identify operational issues and elevate non-routine matters to leadership as appropriate.
  • Utilize ERP, order management, MRP, workflow, and Microsoft Office applications to support daily operations and productivity goals.
  • Review OTC/OM processes and identify items for improvement.
  • Support testing for system updates and modifications.
  • Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Customer Service, Order Management, Supply Chain, Shared Services, Master Data, or related operational environments.
  • Experience processing customer orders in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar business applications.
  • Experience supporting Order Management, Customer Service, MRP, Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain processes preferred.
  • Experience working with workflow management systems and transaction-based business processes preferred.
  • Knowledge of order fulfillment, inventory management, customer account maintenance, or supply chain operations preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience considered.

Salary Range- $44,000 - $50,000
