Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Texas teaching certificate.
• Ability to develop and implement curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements plans for curriculum and instruction.
• Presents subject matter per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Employs varied instructional techniques and media to meet student needs.
• Maintains attendance and grade records and prepares reports.
• Plans and supervises educational aide(s) and/or volunteer(s).
• Communicates with students, parents, staff and the community in a positive manner.
• Participates in professional development and strives to improve curriculum.
