To deliver high quality and rigorous instruction aimed at accelerating English language learning, exposing students to content vocabulary, and preparing English Language Learners to move towards proficiency of the English language. The learning services department at South Shore Charter School is committed to providing the best possible educational environment for all students. As a policy, each child receiving EL support is assigned an ESL Teacher. Below is a list of the responsibilities of an ESL Teacher:
