Alpine School District is seeking an ESL Aide Level II to support English language learners under the supervision of a certified teacher. The role focuses on reinforcing lessons, administering assessments, and preparing individualized activities for students who are learning English.

Hours are 5.75 per day at an hourly rate of $18.83. This non-contract position emphasizes on-site collaboration with the ML Coach to help students achieve language proficiency and classroom success.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Spanish language proficiency desired but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments for the purpose of reinforcing learning concepts.
• Implements under the supervision of the ML Coach, instructional programs and lesson plans provided by and under the supervision of the teacher for the purpose of reinforcing learning concepts.
• Administers English proficiency assessments for the purpose of identifying and measuring student progress for the purpose of supporting classroom teachers.
• Assists teachers for the purpose maintaining student files and determining students' needs and conveying information to appropriate instructional personnel and parents for the purpose of ensuring learning goals are achieved.
• Supports new students and families for the purpose of establishing familiarity with the learning environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

The job of ESL Aide is done for the purpose/s of , with limited on-site supervision of a certified teacher serving as ML Coach, identifying and working with English Language Learners (ELL Students)/Multilingual (ML) Students to support English language acquisition on a scheduled basis; administering English language proficiency assessments to measure student progress; and using prescribed strategies and materials to prepare individualized lessons and activities for students.
