Job summary

Young World Physical Education is looking for a Teacher on Special Assignment – Technology Specialist to support Exceptional Student Education (ESE) classrooms. This role involves designing modified curriculum and integrating assistive technology tailored to students’ needs.

You will assist teachers and students, collaborate with parents, and serve as the district's technology specialist. A Florida certification in Exceptional Student Education is required, as well as experience with assistive technology.

Qualifications

  • Required Florida certification in Exceptional Student Education for grades K-12.
  • Experience with assistive technology and understanding of legal requirements.
  • Successful completion of Florida Care Provider Background Screening.

Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers and students in ESE classrooms with curriculum modifications and assistive technology.
  • Collaborate with parents of ESE students for communication support.
  • Serve as the district's technology specialist for ESE programs.
