Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and passing score on ParaPro Exam.
• Or completion of 60 credit hours or an Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree and one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the instructional process with students individually or in small groups.
• Assist in preparation, organization, and use of instructional aids, materials, and technology.
• Support teacher and reinforce positive learning and behavior patterns.
• Assist students in developing study skills and achieving objectives.
• Provide support in a computer lab, library/media center, or other learning facilities.
