Job summary

Pasco County Schools seeks an Instructional Assistant IA for Student Support in the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and DJJ programs at Skybrooke K8 in Lutz, Florida. You will assist teachers to maintain an orderly classroom and help students access the instructional program under the supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.

This full-time SRP position requires an Associate degree or 60 college hours or ParaPro eligibility, completion of required trainings, and adherence to health

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers to maintain a well-organized, smoothly functioning classroom.
• Support students to access instructional programs and resources.
• Work under the supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.

Education

Associate degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, or related field

60 semester hours of college/university level course work from an accredited institution

Obtain qualifying score to pass the ParaPro Assessment .A condition of employment may be considered for qualified applicants.

All employees must satisfactorily complete any required trainings

All employees must meet all mandated federal and state health requirements
