Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal’s designee for all ESE staff and ensure annual signed agreements.
• Coordinate required ESE meetings and staff support.
• Assist regular education teachers to implement IEPs and monitor progress of IEP goals.
• Help develop appropriate IEPs and provide parents with draft IEPs for annual reviews.
• Meet monthly with ESE curriculum supervisors regarding curricula and service delivery for students with disabilities.
• Explain Procedural Safeguards to parents and point to district resources for students’ needs.
