Job summary

First American's Direct division is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley team. You’ll manage escrow files from opening to closing, build strong relationships with buyers, sellers, lenders and partners, and deliver responsive, accurate service to keep real estate transactions moving.

Locations include Ontario, Riverside, Palm Springs or Indian Wells, CA. The role requires 2–4 years of escrow/title experience, a high school diploma, and any required

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of escrow/title experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid licensing as required by state.
  • Knowledge of escrow/title practices and MS Office.
  • Strong client relations, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and coordinate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders and internal partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage escrow transactions from start to finish.
  • Review buyer, seller, and lender instructions to determine closing requirements.
  • Order title reports and help resolve title defects, liens, and encumbrances.
  • Prepare, review, and process closing documents and settlement statements.
  • Calculate prorations, balance escrow accounts, disburse funds, and complete closings.
  • Communicate with transaction parties and explain documents, provisions, and procedures as needed.
  • Follow company policies, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

First American is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team and support residential real estate transactions throughout the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley. You’ll manage your files from opening through closing, build strong relationships with customers and partners, and deliver the responsive, accurate service that keeps business moving.

How You’ll Contribute

What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of related escrow/title experience.
  • Experience directly handling escrow transactions preferred.
  • Valid licensing/certification as required by applicable state.
  • Knowledge of escrow/title industry practices and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong client relations, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and work with buyers, sellers, agents, brokers, lenders, and internal partners.

Pay Range: $26.88 - $35.83 Hourly
