Job Description

The Physician will attend to the needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training and credentialing, performing patient care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Physician and assist in generating adequate practice volume. The Physician will participate in on-call duties when needed and actively participate in meetings when needed, practicing medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred.
• Valid DEA certificate without restriction.
• Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting 20-50 lbs occasionally (0-33% of the work day).
• Lifting 11-25 lbs frequently (34-66% of the workday).
• Lifting up to 50 lbs (max).
• Occasional to frequent standing & walking; occasional sitting.
• Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing).
• Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
