Job summary

HDR is seeking an ES&P Team Lead in Minnesota. This employee-owned role focuses on production operations, staff development and marketing support, while coordinating services with other sections to drive project success.

You will lead multiple projects, mentor staff, and engage with industrial and public clients on marketing, project production, and related issues in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in operations of production including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support
  • May function as an Assistant Project Manager and assist in responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities
  • Assist with administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections
  • Be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews
  • Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues
  • Assist in ensuring that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system
  • Implement, monitor and support company policy
  • Assist in the selection, training and management of technical personnel
  • Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of ES&P Team Lead, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing and mentoring staff
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clients
  • Strong technical and strategic problem-solving skills including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
  • Ability to lead multiple projects at the same time and work with multiple project teams
  • Experience in business development and client management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of permitting and environmental review processes in MN, WI, SD, ND, IL, and MO, particularly processes associated with the USACE, USFWS, FHWA, state DOT, state public utilities commissions, counties, and municipalities is preferred
  • Local candidates are preferred
