Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks a seasoned project manager to lead large-scale initiatives, coordinate field teams, and ensure profitability within deadlines. The role demands direct supervision of Field Engineers and Technicians and engagement with clients and contractors to maintain schedules and budgets.

You will establish work plans, track progress, review reports, and mentor junior staff, contributing to Vertiv’s project management excellence and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clients and teams.
• Able to manage multiple large-scale projects within time and budget.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project proposals to determine time frame, budget and staffing needs.
• Outlines work plan with Service Center Manager or Region Director.
• Sets up staffing for each phase and assigns project personnel.
• Directs personnel to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Reviews status reports and adjusts schedules as required.
• Prepares and presents project reports for management and clients.
• Gathers back-up material for change orders.
• Provides technical advice to resolve problems.
• Coordinates project activities with clients and other contractors.
• Direct supervision of Field Engineers and Technicians.
• Develops large-scale project management processes for the company.
• Mentors junior personnel in project management practices.
