The ERP Services Senior Project Manager/Technical Project Manager is an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the successful planning, execution, and delivery of ERP services projects. The Senior Project Manager's role is pivotal in orchestrating the successful implementation of ERP solutions through tight collaboration with the customer, consultants, and developers from project inception through optimization. This role combines both general project management and technical project management functions.

Key responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead projects with a goal of delivering on time, on budget, and with great outcomes. Provides excellent, professional client service at all times, tailoring consulting approach to the type of engagement and aligning services with the goals of the company. Monitor overarching project health; identify, mitigate, or escalation issues as needed. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, communication plan, and risk/decision trackers. Define, manage, and adhere to project scope. Manage meetings effectively; prepare agendas and goals, track follow ups. Prepare regular status reports; perform project close, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and technical deliverables as it relates to the SOW. Collaborate with project teams to facilitate timely communication and use of standard deliverables. Use, update, and customize client and Nordic-provided tools throughout project life cycle. Create polished project deliverables and communications. Present with confidence and well-polished demeanor; facilitate executive-level meetings.
  • Technical Project Management: Lead ERP technical workstreams, including reports, integrations, conversions, extensions, configurations, environments, and testing. Manage technical estimates, dependencies, risks, and sequencing. Partner with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Coordinate developers, vendors, and client technical resources as appropriate.
  • Documentation and Standards: Maintain and organize PMO project documentation including project deliverables, tools, and templates. Support the creation and refinement of ERP Services delivery materials, such as methodologies, frameworks, and tools for the effective delivery of projects. Communicate and share new or updated technical tools, resources, project standards and other relevant deliverables to the Project Teams. Ensure documentation is accurate, clear, detailed, and accessible for both internal teams and end-users.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with customers to understand functional and technical requirements and expectations. Serve as a point of contact for consultants and the client, addressing inquiries and providing updates on technical and non-technical deliverables. Help cultivate and support the development and maintenance of strong client relationships.
  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality ERP services. Drive the creation and adherence to the documented environment/tenant and testing strategies. Create and review detailed specifications for reports, integrations, custom configurations, conversions, and extensions. Establish and enforce rigorous comprehensive testing processes for reports, integrations, conversions, and extensions. Assist in coordinating comprehensive testing to validate system reliability and functionality while adhering to the Nordic testing cycles.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with consulting teams to translate customer functional or business requirements into technical specifications. Serve as the liaison between developers, clients, and functional consultants to ensure business design and technical specifications are accurately interpreted and implemented. Provide clear guidance, mentorship, and expectations for customer and Nordic project team members to ensure the project and technical team is aligned with project goals.
