Job summary

Mi-Jack Products in Hazel Crest, IL, is seeking a Material Handler to support warehousing, inventory control, receiving and shipping in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will perform product identification and traceability tasks and work under supervision to ensure accurate material handling.

Requires High School diploma or equivalent and experience with ERP systems (Epicor E9) and barcode scanning; vocational training or APICS certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; material handler experience.
• Experience making inventory transactions through an ERP system (Epicor E9) and through barcode.
• Vocational training in Inventory Management, Logistics or material processing is desirable.
• APICS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes Warehousing, Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping, Product Identification and traceability tasks with supervision.
• Keeps inventory transactions (transfers, issues, receipts) on ERP and barcode systems.
• Assists with Inventory Cycle Count Program.
• Complies with safety and hazardous material handling regulations and Hazardous Waste Management.
• Maintains workplace organization and safe environment; participates in team meetings and improvement activities.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and submits continuous improvement ideas.
