Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a dedicated SAP Master Data Specialist in California to lead production data lifecycle in SAP, from design to retire, collaborating with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.

You will create and maintain Material Masters, BOMs, QM data, and related records, drive data quality improvements, support GMP-compliant processes, and contribute to site projects and training materials. Bachelors degree required; SAP ECC experience and QA data familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience with SAP ECC master data within manufacturing.
• Familiarity with GMP in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to implement SAP production master data lifecycle.
• Maintain data-related business processes and SAP data domain alignment.
• Create, mature, maintain SAP Master Data Objects related to Production and QM data.
• Improve data structure quality and supply chain efficiency.
• Support SAP projects; participate in site user acceptance testing.
• Develop procedures, workflows, and training materials for Operational Excellence.
• Work on routine and non-routine production campaigns and tech transfers.
• Prepare technical reports for production and supply chain stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge through formal training or certifications.
