Job summary

Select Medical’s Saco Bay PT unit in Westbrook, ME seeks a Part-time Injury Prevention Specialist to support a distribution center. This role is ideal for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, PTA, or COTA, who can align coverage with availability.

You will combine ergonomics, education, and preventive exercise programs to reduce workplace injuries and promote employee well-being across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree required.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of MSK injury assessment and prevention.

Responsibilities

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs
• Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention
• Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics
