Ergon Asphalt Partners in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Facility Operator to work outdoors and contribute directly to plant operations and customer success. You will join a dedicated team producing high-quality asphalt products in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory product testing.
• Input quality specifications and batch data into reports.

• Perform minor maintenance on pumps, mixers, racks, and other plant equipment.
• Participate in daily production, quality, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) meetings.
• Utilize safety tools and follow company safety procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Complete required training and certifications.
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, truck drivers, and customers.

About the Role

As a Facility Operator, you'll work alongside a dedicated team to produce neat and polymer modified asphalt products used by paving and repair customers. This is a hands‑on, outdoor position where no two days are exactly alike.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Willingness to learn computer systems and new skills
• Proficiency in Excel preferred, but not required
• Ability to lip up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb tanks and structures, bend, and work in physically active environments
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work scheduled hours, including Monday through Sunday as needed
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
