Job summary

Ergon Asphalt Partners in St. Louis, MO is seeking a hands-on Facility Operator to support production of asphalt products. The role involves outdoor work, assisting with testing, loading/unloading, and following strict safety procedures.

You will participate in daily production and safety meetings, operate with a team, and complete training to uphold quality and environmental standards. This position offers growth opportunities within a family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Willingness to learn computer systems and new skills.
• Proficiency in Excel preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb tanks and structures, bend, and work in physically active environments.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work scheduled hours, including Monday through Sunday as needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

About the Role

As a Facility Operator, you'll work alongside a dedication team to produce neat and polymer modified asphalt products used by paving the repair customers. This is a hands-on outdoor position where no two days are exactly alike.

What You'll Do

• Assist with laboratory product testing
