PetVet Care Centers' VRCC Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital Englewood, Colorado seeks ER Veterinary Technicians to join our team. Earn a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience and contribute to high‑quality patient care in a busy emergency setting.

Responsibilities include patient examinations, nursing care, anesthesia assistance, and maintaining medical records while delivering outstanding service to pets and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Veterinary medicine experience.
• Experience with radiographs.
• Triage experience.
• Strong client communication skills.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.
• Emergency or specialty veterinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by exams, care plans, records reviews, labs, and imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, administering meds, vaccines, bandaging wounds.
• Assist during examinations and operations; prepare supplies and restrain patients as directed.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, pharmacology, and equipment usage to patient care.
• Maintain medical records and report patient conditions and reactions.
• Communicate status to pet owners as directed by veterinarian.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; perform routine maintenance and orders.
